Watershed Education Network
about us

The Watershed Education Network (WEN) started in 1996 as a volunteer effort. After two years of running students to the river between jobs, we acquired a start-up grant from the Environmental Protection Agency. Ten years later, WEN is the watershed education hub of western Montana, offering monitoring instruction to citizen scientists, professional workshops, and experiential education programs to local schools.

WEN is celebrating our 14th-year during the 2008-2009 field seasons.
