WEN visits Pattee Creek

Home to mountain biking, cross country skiing, and fulf (frisbee-gulf), Pattee Canyon also contains the headwaters of Pattee Creek. From there, the creek meanders into Missoula in the southeast corner of town. Just shy of a few feet wide, it passes behind 100 Pattee Creek Drive, where Washington Middle schoolers sample twice a year, looking for changes in pH, nitrate, and phosphate levels. Eventually, the creek runs underground into Missoula County groundwater.
