WEN goes to Rattlesnake Creek

Rattlesnake Creek begins its long journey to the Clark Fork River from its headwaters in the Rattlesnake Wilderness. From there, it passes through the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area, runs east of the PEAS farm, meanders between Mount Jumbo and Waterworks Hills, and finally joins the Clark Fork in downtown Missoula. This confluence, just west of the University of Montana pedestrian bridge, is frequented by fly fisher-men and woman, and by us, WEN-samplers, who are cherish the abundance of aquatic life the cold creek flushes into the river.
