This kit is the key to our Chemistry Station! We use this test kit measure the amount of dissolved oxygen in creeks and rivers around western MT. Through the process we teach students how the presence of dissolved oxygen affects the amount of life that is can live in the water, and more. Low dissolved oxygen levels in surface water systems usually indicate serious pollution. Adequate amounts are crucial for fish life, but conversely, DO must be excluded from boiler feed water to prevent corrosion. This test kit utilizes drop count titration and contains 100 tests.
